Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Account info: your name, email address, and a securely hashed password (or, if you sign in with Google, your Google profile info).
• Content you create: tasks, habits, notes, calendar events, and life-area labels you add in Producky.
• Google Calendar data (only if you connect it) — see section 3 below.
• Billing info:if you subscribe to Pro, Lemon Squeezy processes your payment and shares with us only what's needed to manage your subscription (e.g. plan, renewal date) — never your full card number.
• Push notification subscription:if you enable reminders, your browser's push subscription endpoint, so we can deliver them.
• Basic usage data: things like login timestamps, needed to keep the Service secure and working.

2. How we use it

Solely to run Producky for you: storing and showing your tasks/habits/notes/events, syncing with Google Calendar if you've connected it, sending reminders you've opted into, and managing your subscription. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising, and we don't share it with third parties except the service providers below who help us run Producky.

3. Google Calendar data — Limited Use disclosure

If you connect Google Calendar, Producky requests access to read and (only if you separately turn on "Create events in Google Calendar") write events on your primary calendar. This access is used exclusively to show your Google events alongside Producky events in the Week view, and to create/update/ delete events you make in Producky when push-sync is on. We do not use this data for advertising, do not transfer it to third parties, and do not allow humans to read it except as needed for security, legal compliance, or with your explicit consent.

Producky's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can revoke Producky's access at any time from Settings (which also removes our stored tokens) or from your Google Account permissions.

4. Who we share data with

• MongoDB Atlas — hosts our database.
• Vercel — hosts the application and sends push notifications.
• Lemon Squeezy — processes payments for Pro subscriptions.
• Google — only for the calendar sync and sign-in features you explicitly enable.

Each only receives what they need to provide their part of the Service.

5. Cookies & local storage

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in, and your browser's local storage to remember your light/dark theme preference. We don't use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

6. Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can export everything as a JSON file, or permanently delete your account and all associated data, from Settings at any time — deletion is immediate and can't be undone.

7. Security

Passwords are hashed, not stored in plain text. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

8. Children's privacy

Producky isn't directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.

9. Your rights

You can access, export, correct, or delete your data at any time from Settings. If you have questions about your data that aren't covered there, contact us directly.

10. Changes to this policy

We'll update the "Last updated" date above if this policy changes, and post the new version here.
